Do you like Japanese manga? There are many Japanese manga magazines such as Sunday, Magazine, and Morning, but Jump is the best!

Did you know that there is a Jump festival? This time, we will give you a brief introduction to the Jump Festa, which is held every December.

What is Jump Festa?

“Jump Festa 2025” is an annual Jump event jointly hosted by five Shueisha magazines: “Weekly Shonen Jump,” “Shonen Jump+,” “V Jump,” “Jump SQ.”, and “Saikyō Jump.” The event allows readers to fully enjoy the charm of Jump manga.

A quick introduction to Jump Festa

Here’s a quick introduction to the atmosphere of Jump Festa! Please note that the photos are from 2024.

The venue was Makuhari Messe! It was incredibly spacious, with booths and stages all over the place.

I wanted to go to the 2025 event last month because it seemed like the venue was even larger.

(I won tickets to 2025, but couldn’t go due to poor health…)

Manga and Anime

In addition to One Piece, the flagship manga of Jump, there were also booths for completed manga and anime such as JoJo and Bleach!

At the time, live-action versions of One Piece and Yu Yu Hakusho were being broadcast on Netflix, so there was a booth for those as well. There were costumes used in the filming, so it was fun!

Game booths too!

There was also a game booth, as there was V Jump! At that time, there was a trial session for Sandland, designed by Akira Toriyama, and the Final Fantasy VII Remake.

There will also be a special stage for anime fans!

If you’re an anime fan, be sure to head over to the special stage on the day! There will be a lottery-based event held on Stage RED and Stage Blue.

This time I went to the main stage for Rurouni Kenshin! The voice actors came out and we talked about various things, including the upcoming anime. The stage itself also had a variety of effects with lights and sounds that you could enjoy.

Where is the venue located?

Jump Festa is held every year at Makuhari Messe, which is just a short train ride away from Tokyo, so be sure to check it out!

The nearest station is JR Kaihin Makuhari Station. When there is an event, the station gets really crowded!

If you’re in Japan in December, go to Jump Festa!

This concludes our brief introduction to Jump Festa!

There were also booths for Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dai’s Big Adventure, and card games. There was also an original manga picture exhibition. There were cosplay booths. There was a lot to see!Not only will you be able to purchase official merchandise, but you’ll also be able to get a ton of non-saleable novelty items, making it even more of a bargain!

It’s unbelievable that this is free, as expected from Jump!

If you are a fan of anime or manga, be sure to check out Jump Festa, which is held every December.

The lottery for participation should be available on JumpNavi from September or October, so check it out. I think it also came up when I was reading the manga on JumpPlus.

Still, I wonder how One Piece will progress from now on. Where did Blackbeard go? I’m looking forward to that too.

Hunter x Hunter will probably never end…

fanfan japan!!
